Jeff Rehkemper

Rehkemper ID was founded in 1983 by Steve and Jeff Rehkemper, brothers from the small town of Breese in southern Illinois.

REHCO, as it is known, has invented hundreds of products over their 25-year history. REHCO product inventions have resulted in over $1 billion in combined sales for clients such as Mattel, Fisher-Price, Hasbro, Tiger, Spin Master, and many others. Most notably, REHCO was responsible for re-inventing the flying toy category with items like air powered planes and the very first toy remote controlled helicopter. REHCO has a very strong reputation in electronicsand mechanical engineering across all categories resulting in numerouspproduct nominations and awards including the 2007 TOTY Game of the Year Award for the Rubik’s Revolution marketed by TechnoSoucrce.

Steve is a graduate of the University of IL at Champaign-Urbana with a BFA in Industrial Design. He interned at IBM and worked in Industrial Design prior to joining Marvin -Glass & Associates to become a toy inventor. Jeff is a graduate of Southern IL University at Carbondale with an Associates Degree in Tool & Manufacturing Technology. He worked at Weilgus Product Models in Chicago prior to forming Rehkemper Invention& Design with Steve.
